Kebede Mihret
Mihret is a painter from Ethiopia who also plays very good football. She is reluctant to talk about her work, as she doesn’t believe in mediating the visual experience with words. Maybe she doesn’t need to. Her paintings, from landscapes to self-portraits have such a visceral feel that they really need no explanation.
